This Heuer Autavia Chronograph known as the "Vicerory" due to the special promotions offered by the Viceroy Cigarette Company in the mid-70s featuring Indy 500 champion Parnelli Jones is a sharp steel chronograph with black dial and white subs. This piece runs off the Heuer Calibre 12 Automatic movement which offers 30-minute and 12-hour registers with a date function at 6 o'clock. Red accents and the rotating tachymeter bezel complete this looker. Steel case is approximately 42mm (excluding crowns) and has a signed crown at 9 o'clock. Luminous steel hour markers and Chronometer pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock. Overall condition: Original steel case is in excellent overall condition with one notable ding near the 2:00 pusher. Bezel shows wear. Bezel insert shows some fading and light damage. Dial and original hands are in excellent condition with a light patina to the lume. Original signed crown.
