LIMITED & NUMBERED EDITION OF 300 PIECES WORLDWIDE IN YELLOW GOLD!This Yellow Gold version differs from the Platinum & Rose Gold versions, with a SILICON Escapement & Pallet Fork. Silicon is an extremely hard & ultra light material capable of operating lubricant-free & is very resistant to wear. With the upgrade of the movement JLC has introduced its newest & toughest test yet: the '1000 Hours Chrono' test. This new test incorporates the original '1000 Hours Control' test with the Swiss Chronometer Standards. The famous COSC tests are completed on raw movements with a running seconds hand only (not cased), once the movements passes the COSC tests the watch is then fitted with additional complication modules, hands & finally cased. JLC has always preferred a more real-life test thus developing their own internal '1000 Hours Control' test which tests each fully cased & completed watch for a full 1000 hours before allowing the watch to leave the factory. JLC has taken the testing to a new level by introducing the '1000 Hours Chrono' test which requires that in addition to their standard '1000 Hours Control' test the watch must pass the ISO 3159 Chronometer standards (the same standard used by the COSC to certify raw movements) making it the first cased watch to successfully do so.This watch features: Polished finished 18kt Yellow Gold case with fine brushed finished edges. Two tiered off-white/beige dial with a velvety soft looking finish. The top tier encompassing the sub-dials has flat finish, a fine guilloche texture decorates the bottom tier. Applied yellow gold faceted polished index hour markers & applied dot minute markers. Yellow gold dauphin shaped hands with polished & satin finished sides to enhance legibility. Perpetual Calendar Complication Features: Complete (4 digit) year window displayed centered in the top sub-dial. Month indicated by the sub-dial at the 12 O'Clock position, Day of the indicated by the sub-dial at the 3 O'Clock position, Date indicated by the sub-dial at the 9 O'Clock position. Moonphase indicated by a hand pointing to outer rim of the sub-dial at the 3 O'Clock position. Tourbillon cage at the 6 o'clock position. The Tourbillon cage is constructed of ultra-light titanium. Jaeger LeCoultre Calibre 987, beats at 28,800 vph, constructed of 401 parts, contains 47 jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 48 hours.
