This watch belonged to my mother. She took meticulous care of her jewelry. A jeweler appraised it and said it was made in 1964. The appraisal document can be seen in the photo with total appraisal value of $5,400. I have included a copy of the sales receipt for the appraisal. Movement is accurate. This is a very fine watch according to the jeweler. There are no flaws or scratches to the gold. There is one small scratch on the glass face but barely noticeable. You cannot feel it with a fingernail test. It is a small size - measuring about 5 1/2 inches around. This is an authentic Rolex wrist watch. 18 karat gold. It is self winding. My original posting said it needs a battery. This is not correct. I can send photos of how the time changes on the watch or perhaps a short video that may show the second hand moving. It is most certainly a self winding watch. Here is what the watch face has imprinted on it: "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Just Officially Certified Chronometer T Swiss T" Please contact me if you have questions.
