Looking as if it were extracted from a vintage fighter plane, the AutoPilot???s roots are firmly planted in the sky. The design is truly inspired by aeronautic instrumentation, clearly evident in it???s clearly layed-out dial design. From the case shape to the fonts that were selected for it, the AutoPilot remains true to form in the world of aviator watches. It also happens to be very rugged, yet very comfortable watch that always seems to attract compliments. The AutoPilot features a heavy stainless-steel case with curved lugs that hug the wrist, and a ramped bezel which is secured to the case by four hex screws. The sapphire crystal has an anti-reflective coating for optimal visibility of the dial and broadsword hands. The dial and hands utilize SuperLuminova, the luminescent material used on the finest watches in the world. The automatic self-winding versions of the AutoPilot also have a sapphire exhibition caseback thru which you can view the engine of this wrist machine. What is your NFW warranty? NFW maintains an outstanding reputation for high-quality watches and excellent customer service. We have very few problems with our watches, but with any company or product there is occasionally something to be remedied. Our top priority is our customers??? satisfaction. So, we keep our warranty simple: If something goes wrong with your NFW watch , due to a manufacturing defect, during the first three years that you own the watch, we???ll take care of it either by repairing or replacing the watch, at our discretion. If your watch needs replacement and that exact model is no longer available then we reserve the right to replace it with another watch of equal or greater value. Here???s what???s not covered, since these issues are not considered to be manufacturing defects: Scratched or broken crystals/lenses, scratches cases, batteries, abuse, normal wear & tear including leather, water leakage damage that occurred either while the crown was in the out position or if buttons were pushed while in water. Please note: Warranties are not transferable and apply only to the original owner of the watch.
