A rare and uncommon vintage ladies Rolex sporting wrist watch in stainless steel. Fitted with a waterproof Oyster case, this vintage Rolex features a unique sporting dial with easily readable radium numerals, and desirable Mercedes hands. In excellent condition this rare vintage ladies Rolex is one of the most desirable Ladies models ever made. This watch was designed to be the first ladies sporting model Rolex with the large clear numerals, and the durable stainless steel Oyster case. The stainless steel case features a screw down waterproof winding crown, along with a screw down stainless steel case back. The unbreakable acrylic crystal is firmly secured by the pressure fit high polished stainless steel bezel. This is one of the most durable Ladies model Rolex ever made, as it was designed to truly withstand all elements. The signed Rolex dial features alternating Arabic Numerals and stick numerals, all painted in radium. The outer portion of the dial features a seconds and minute chapter found on high precision timepieces. The dial is signed 'ROLEX OYSTER' with the Rolex crown logo, and is signed 'Swiss Made' below the 6 o'clock marker. Centering the dial are blued steel Mercedes hands, and a sweep seconds hand.
