Blue Star Silver Pocket Watch ~ Like a perfect estate find this fine embossed silver antique style mechanical pocket watch has precision engineered mechanical 17 jeweled movement, see-through protective hardened acrylic scratch proof cover and mineral glass rear view window to allow viewing of the entire movement and the back and forth rotation of the balance wheel as the watch runs. The ornate cover flips open to view the white dial face with copper (Roman Numerals ONLY - NOT Arabic number dial face in picture is Out of Stock). This is a mechanical style watch that keeps accurate time and will need to be wound but does not require batteries. Pocket watch measures 1 7/8 inches. We make a traditional watch chain 14.5 inches long including the pocket/belt/button hook and watch clip. The case back is smooth and can be engraved. (We do not engrave). When you hear a click you will be able to turn the crown/button to set the time. Once you have set the time you will need to press the button firmly back towards the watch until you feel or hear a click. Winding your pocket watch You may wind your watch fully every day of use. Turn the winding crown (same button you set the time with) clockwise approx. 15-20 turns. Stop if you feel resistance. The mainspring is made to wind up all the way once a day. Once you finish winding the watch you will need to rock the watch back and forth to activate it. This watch runs on kinetic energy and movement is part of what keeps it working.
