This luxurious black 'peace' silk coin purse features a beautiful vintage Liberty of London pink floral silk lining and matching button. Feminine and romantic in style, the size fits inside a purse or clutch, and is perfect for carrying change, keys, jewelry or other small items. Great gift item too! DETAILED INFORMATION ... FABRICS: Exterior: black hemp silk charmeuse - this is Tussah silk (also known as Peace/Cruelty-free silk) and naturally grown hemp raised as a companion crop without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Tussah silk is cruelty free because the silkworms are allowed to hatch naturally and continue their lives. The hemp provides body to the fabric. It is soft, not stiff. Shiny, but not slippery ... it's just a perfect fabric :) Interior: floral silk by Liberty of London - print designed in-house in 1933 and now stored in the Liberty archives. This is a vintage fabric which I purchased 25 years ago and is no longer available for purchase from Liberty. DIMENSIONS (approx): 4 1/4†high (top of kisslock) 3†wide (frame) 3 1/2†wide (base) 1 1/2†deep 11cm x 7.5cm x 9cm x 4cm FINISHING TOUCHES: matching aluminum covered button, a discreet product label and I've included a traditional little gift inside the purse PURSE FRAME: ergonomically designed, nickel-free finish (hypoallergenic, itch- and rash-free), tested for lead and meets US Environmental Protection guidelines.
