This is an exquisite example of a 1930’s cotton crocheted drawstring purse. Measures 6 ½ †tall by 6†wide – base is 6†x 2 ½'" A silver metallic thread and small pearls have been worked into the top of the bag and in 9 rows at the base of the bag. Two black cords draw the purse closed and the ends are finished with filigree-stamped silver metal tips approximately 2†long. The rigid black base is oval-shaped so that the purse can stand on its own. The black fabric lining has a pocket at each side. Some of the pearls have lost their lustre, otherwise in wonderful condition. Very Good Condition International customers please convo for shipping prices.
