This is a brown velvet handbag from the Victorian era. It features an inside mounted change purse. The clasp is silver or pewter with inset faceted red glass stones. Overall the velvet is in great condition as shown in the pictures with just a little wear evident on the top edge where it covers the metal frame. The interior is in perfect condition without any tears or seam separation. The change purse portion is also perfect. The bag is approximately 8-1/4" tall from the bottom to the top of the clasp and 7-1/2" across at its widest. The change purse is approximately 4-1/2" x 3-1/2". The handle is 6" from the bag to the top mid point. We accept credit cards through Etsy Direct Checkout. (see below) We always ship within 1 business day of receiving your order. For orders that require UPS or FedEx, that means we ship Monday-Friday. For those items that we utilize the United States Postal Service, we can ship whatever days they are open, typically Monday-Saturday, except for legal holidays.
