The classic clutch is constructed from 100% silk dupioni fabric. The outside of the purse is patterned with vertical stripes of silk in black pink ( woven in pink one direction and black the other), on a base of rosee pink, and waves of machine stitching in matching threads. The inside of each is lined with silk dupioni in the black pink. Both the inner and outer silks are reinforced with a fusible interfacing, giving strength, shape and structure to the piece, while keeping it lightweight. The fastening is a 14mm round magnetic metal snap for ease of use. This one also has an inside pocket just large enough to hold a business card or credit card. The classic clutch is a long and narrow shape, more than twice as long as it is tall. It would be perfect paired with a little black dress, or for a bridal party. As shown it can hold a cellphone, cheque book, or camera, as well as a couple of small accessories or cosmetics. Less tall and longer than the mini clutch, the classic is 9.5†(24.1cm) long, 4.25†(10.8cm) tall. The colours shown are black pink, and rosee pink. Silk dupioni has a soft feel and subtle sheen. Some of these fabrics are woven in two different colours, giving them a beautiful slight colour shifting effect in different light conditions.
