Vintage small shoulder bag purse is so sweet, another find from my friend’s attic where it was stored since the 80s, so the condition is like-new. Made in China of crocheted raffia for the purse part and twisted raffia for the handle, it has a wooden two-hole shank toggle button and loop as closure, and a silky liner with zippered pocket inside. The front of the purse has a pretty floral panel which is offset by plain crocheted rows. It’s pretty, a great one to carry when just a slip of a purse will do. Just the purse measures 7-1/8†wide x 8†high; purse with strap measures 31†from center top of strap to bottom of purse. Condition, as already noted, is near mint. There are a few places where the raffia has separated a little—as raffia tends to do over time—but it’s nothing that compromises the structure at all.
