Offered is a special vintage satchel made in ca 1960s from genuine leather embossed with ostrich pattern, in classic white. A traditional '60s Mod design, with accordion gussets, a front flap closure and an architectural top handle: a beautifully articulated, ornate, solid brass. Compact yet quite spacious, this luxurious piece is lined in genuine leather and accompanied by an original coin purse. Its gold-tone frame is edged with an elaborate, floral motif. A very pretty, well-made vintage purse. SIZE: apprx. 9"L (widest points) x 7"H (without the handle), 10"H (with the handle) x 3.5"D; 3" drop brass handle. CONDITION: This vintage bag is in intact pre-owned condition (no flaws or damage), with minor signs of age. The solid brass has no tarnish, but there's slight oxidation on the filigree. There's also very slight loss of plating on the clasp. No damage to exterior or interior. Clean, with no odor. As most vintage items, it might have some slight signs of gentle use, color variation or wear consistent with age. HANDLING: It was carefully inspected before shipping for flaws, cleaned and conditioned, and thoroughly documented in archived close ups.
