Item #1 Louis Brandt founded the company that would be come Omega in 1848. Around the turn of the century they produced a watch that was called the Omega, as in final say. It was so popular that soon the company was referred to as Omega and shortly thereafter they officially adopted the name. Today Omega is known for being a high quality Swiss watch brand. This model was produced in 1978. It has the classic copper color Omega automatic movement of that era and it is set in a stainless steel case. The crystal is lucite. Both the day and date have a quick set feature. The band is a burgundy ostrich. Serial #: 39,074,405 Case size: 34.5mm lugs: 18mm This watch is running accurately over a 24 hour period but it is recommended that you purchase the flat rate clean, oil and regulate service to get the 6 month warranty.
