It's a. Elgin Deluxe wristwatch with 17 Jewels. It has the Elgin 555 Caliber movement, which are very strong and reliable movements made by Elgin. The ivory dial is in good shape with some patina to it. It has a fresh new crystal inserted into the 10kt Gold fill case for clear viewing. Ah, THE CASE! I just love this styling, it is my favorite. It has the stepped sides and ruffles on the ends for band lugs. Their is light wear to the high points, but these ends are also called "hidden or hooded lugs" since you cannot see where the band attaches. Makes it even more desirable and collectible. It measures 35mm tall & 25mm wide minus the crown. The 17 Jewel movement has been totally serviced...cleaned, oiled & timed. It is running very strong and accurate, especially with its brand new mainspring! This particular piece was manufactured in 1943 while WWII was happening. A marvelous classic, great for a collection or gift! *Insurance & delivery confirmation already figured into the shipping price*
