Hello! This bag is a true find. Although there are no markings, this bag is made of genuine alligator leather. The outside and inside leather lining are both in flawless condition, with tons of life left in the bag. The top opens and closes with antique brass hardware that still functions perfectly. Inside, there are two slot pockets - one holding an attached change purse and the other a tiny vintage mirror in original packaging. There is an additional zipper pocket as well. Plenty of room to store cell phones, credit cards, etc. Please note, the handle is showing some wear and has a few cracks (see photo). If you are intending to use this bag frequently, I would recommend replacing or repairing the handles before further wear is shown. This could be easily done at most shoe repair shops. I could also take care of this upon request. It measures 6" tall, 10" wide (across base), and 3" deep. The handles measure 14 1/2" long on the inside curve and the handle drop from the inside top to the clasp is 6". All in all this is a great bag and a classic piece that will look good for years to come. Items are carefully packaged in boxes and/or padded envelopes.
