Vintage 1960's Black Patent Leather with Gold Chain Strap Purse - A Coblentz Original - Perma Plastic Trademark Classic, glamourous, and sophisticated describe this patent leather and gold chain strap purse by the renown New York City based Coblentz bag co., which was started by French born Louis Coblentz in 1935. Has the Coblentz Original stamp inside as well as the Perma Plastic trademark. The double gold chain strap is of medium height. This purse fastens with metal snap and has a metal zippered pocket as well as a tiny pouch inside. In excellent condition. No signs of major wear.
