Vintage Jeweled Cameo Purse Black Satin Rosenfeld Evening Bag unique & elegant vintage black satin evening bag from famous purse designer Harry Rosenfeld he was recognized for his innovative designs, quality of his materials and attention to detail many of his bags were manufactured in Italy and France during the 40s and 50s crafted of semi-shiny black satin has a lovely scalloped gold tone clasp which runs the width of the top clasp is adorned with rhinestone designs & 2 mother of pearl shell cameos roomy enough to carry today's necessities clasp simply lifts up to open the bag interior is completely lined with the same black satin fabric features 2 pockets - 1 lined in peach satin & the other in black 'twifaille by Rosenfeld' is written in gold letters on an inside pocket handle is black satin & attaches to the frame with gold tone rings Measurements: height without strap 8" width at bottom 8" strap drop 5" clasp 7 1/2" long x 1" wide cameos 3/4" x 1/2" Condition: This is in good used vintage condition but it does have some issues. The fabric has some wear/discoloration and a tiny 2mm defect on the back upper right (see close-up pic). It looks like a hot ash may have landed on it but it is superficial and not noticed when the bag is carried. The fabric has slightly separated from the right inner hinge area but it does not appear to have weakened the bag's ability to hold items or open/close. The fabric could probably be reinserted with a little TLC. The gold tone clasp has very minor wear, and the rhinestones are clear and bright. The cameos look pretty great to me. The frame has lifted slightly on one side at the back. The interior is clean and intact without rips. The strap is secure but has some wear at the point of attachment to the bag.
