Item: Offered is this beautiful vintage cowhide with hair handbag in black and white, with a touch of red hair here and there. A great handbag for the cowgirl! The top opens wide, like a doctor's satchel for a full view of what you have inside (I love this feature!). This is a pre-owned bag and I believe it is from the 1980s through early 1990s. It has black leather handles and trim with a magnetic snap on the front. The interior is black material and there is a side pocket that has a zippered pocket in it on one side of the interior. Otherwise, this is just wide open for you to put your coin purse, makeup bag, etc. where you want them. The bottom of the purse is also black leather and it has four silvertone little metal "feet". Condition: Very nice, clean condition. No stains found; no damage other than minor surface wear on the bottom of purse. No odor other than a leather smell. Size: Bottom measures 10-1/2" by 5". Height without handles is about 7-1/2", and handles add another 8" in height. I consider this a mid-size handbag. VINTAGE CONDITION: All items I list have been closely examined by me for damage. I strive to sell only those items which are in good, clean condition, with no bad odors. Most who favor vintage/antiques realize there will most often be some signs of wear since most have been previously used/handled. Be assured I will make note of any condition issues which may be of concern to a buyer, but not of every little surface scratch, paint fleck, etc. I try to give an overall impression of the condition of the item, and consider most of my items in the "excellent to minty" condition before I ever list them. As with everything in this world, there are exceptions or I may miss something, so please convo me if you have a particular question or concern over an item. SHIPPING IN USA: I ship United States Postal Services only. Packages are generally mailed either first class (up to 13 oz.) or priority mail. With the recent 2013 postal changes and price increases, priority mail is about the same price as standard post. However, if item can be safely mailed by standard post and will save buyer money, I will use that method. Shipping delivery time: 1) first class mail up to 5 days; 2) priority mail up to 3 days; and 3) parcel select up to 9 days. POSTAGE REFUNDS: I make refunds on postage if excess is $2.00 or more. Please know that I am fully aware of the high postal rates are now in the US. I do my best to ship as economically as possible. COMBINED SHIPPING: Where possible, I will combine multiple purchases to help save you money on shipping charges. I will make the determination as to whether or not an item will safely ship with others. If it won't ship safely or won't fit in a package with others, it will be shipped separately at the listed shipping price for that particular item. Please convo me if you are considering multiple purchases, especially if the items are large, heavy, or glass, so I can advise you on whether it will be possible to ship them together. PACKAGED WITH CARE: I've sold online for over fourteen years and have experience in packing items for shipping. I always take care in preparing your item(s) for shipping. Still, on occasion, damage happens. If you receive a broken item, save the box and packaging until you've contacted me for further instructions. On more expensive items, I will purchase insurance to cover the package (at my cost), and you need to keep this packing for postal service to see. Photos are also good if you can do that. PROMPT SHIPPING: Items are shipped within two working days of purchase and payment. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS WELCOME: I ship internationally, but ask that you contact me for shipping charges to your region/country. I no longer post international shipping prices in my listings (other than for jewelry), due to the many different costs for different countries. INTERNATIONAL DUTIES OR FEES: Duties, fees, or taxes that a country imposes on incoming packages will be the buyer's responsibility to pay. So be sure you are aware of any of these extra fees prior to making a purchase. REFUNDS: I make full refunds, including shipping both ways, if I have made a mistake in my listing or description. However, for "buyer's remorse" type returns, the buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs (both ways) but will receive a full refund of purchase price once item has been returned to me within 14 days of purchase and in undamaged, original condition. Please contact me prior to returning an item so I will be aware of what is happening. PETS AND SMOKING: My home is smoke-free, but I do have cats, so if you suffer from allergies, you may want to make note of this. My items are clean and pretty much kept away from the cats, but I don't know if just being in a home with cats will affect allergies or not.
