Gruen 15J Precision wrist watch, attractive silver metal dial with fancy raised silver Arabic numbers and markers has some small spots near the edge (not distracting), fancy silver steel hands with luminous inserts and silver sweep second, heavy SS round water resistant case with faceted extended lugs and stepped frame is showing some moderate wear with pitting in a few places along the frame, lugs and back, measures approx. 33mm in diameter x 43 mm lug to lug, attractive white base metal (WBM) expansion band with textured pattern on each link, high domed plastic crystal in excellent condition. A fine looking Gruen from the 1950's, perfect to wear everyday in very good condition throughout! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
