This is the original 'La Bamba' also known as the Tuna Can. The PAM 64 1000m Submersible represents the first 1000m Submersible made for C series (2000-2001 production year) and since its one time release there has never been another watch like it. What makes this watch so unique: Made in a one time production of only 500 individually numbered pieces for 'C' series -Features black dial with silver seconds sub-dial at 9:00. This is the only 1000m Submersible ever made with black dial and contrasting silver seconds dial. · The PAM 64 represents the proto-type for the 44mm Luminor Submersible 1000m. The PAM 64 was only made for one year in 500 pieces. Starting in the D series the PAM87 replaced the PAM 64 and this watch featured a blue dial. The PAM 87 1000m Sub is the only watch somewhat similar to this PAM 64 and was made for 5 production years (D-E-F-G-H series) in quantities each year produced ranging between 300 or 500 pieces per year.
