Description: You are looking at a stunning Art Deco FiligreeWatch. Watch tested to be mostly Platinum (about 90% - bracelet and back of the case) and rest (the bezel) 18k White gold. Diamonds and Sapphires are set into the bezel and into the bracelet. The watch dial is typical art deco with black numerals on a light dial. The bezel and the case features an intricate design engraved into the Gold and is set with numerous Diamonds and Sapphires in a geometric art deco design. Additional diamonds are set into the stunning bracelet. Bracelet is filigree with a beautiful floral motif. Bracelet has a back snap closure with a safety hook and a safety chain. We can estimate the production of the watch to be early 20th century, likely 1920s during the Art Deco period. Watch has a quartz mechanism that we do not believe to be native to this watch. The inside of the case is hand engraved with words Platinum & 18k. The back of the case has engraved initials REJ. This watch is a great antique piece, typical of the Art Deco Era, exhibiting a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
