Antique Bronze Pocket Watch with Wood Inlay - Mechanical movement with pocket watch chain. Timeless fashion marks this distinctive pocket watch. Bronze tone antique case has a viewing window that is encircled with wood inlay and ornate Victorian design detail. This watch features a 17 jewel mechanical movement, scratch resistant crystal on the back view widow. Top cover flips open to view the black face dial with white and copper Roman numerals. This is a mechanical style watch that keeps accurate time and will need to be wound but does not require batteries. Pocket watch measures 2 inches. When you hear a click you will be able to turn the crown/button to set the time. Once you have set the time you will need to press the button firmly back towards the watch until you feel or hear a click. Winding your pocket watch You may wind your watch fully every day of use. Turn the winding crown (same button you set the time with) approx. 20 turns clockwise until you feel slight resistance. The mainspring needs to be wound once a day. Once you finish winding the watch you will need to rock the watch back and forth to activate it. This watch runs on kinetic energy and movement is part of what keeps it working. Most watches will run 26-30 hours on a full winding, but there can be exceptions.
