Vintage Soviet mechanical Gold Plated (AU stamped) wrist watch Vostok Volna (wave) 22j in running order. This vintage timepiece features nice textured dial. The details are following: *Case - chromeplated, stainless steel back engraved " antishiock, dust moisture proof" *Movement -manual winding mechanical movement with 22 jewels. (Looks as Zenith) *Dial - marked "Made in USSR CHCHZ *Crystal - Acrylic *Case Measures - 34mm wide (excluding crown) Overall Condition Statement: Good condition for it's age. The watch recently serviced by Master Watchmaker, runs well and keeps accurate time. HISTORY: It is undoubtedly the best Russian wristwatch ever made. But due high cost of production the watch was produced for only around 5 years, and then has been discontinued. The creation of this outstanding chronometer was "borrowed" from legendary ZENITH Chronometer Cal. 135. You can notice some striking similarities, such as: big screw balance, microregulator, plates layout, large and powerful mainspring, oversize jeweled stones, etc. Size about : dial 1,2'' diameter (straps 16mm) NOTE: THIS IS MECHANICAL WATCH, NEED TO DO WINDING EVERY DAY .
