I am pleased to offer this fantastic hi grade American made wrist watch for men by the fine maker ELGIN. All though it was made for a man it is a nice size for a women. This Elgin Durapower is from 1955 The 14K solid gold bezel and case back are in excellent condition with no visible wear showing. The gold looks quite thick and still has a very lustrous shine. The glossy gold case back is clean with no dedication Has a very nice thin design with nice lugs. Original crown. This watch was a common size for the day, very attractive and in excellent shape. It has a great look on the wrist. The inside and outside of the case are signed Elgin. It's a gorgeous fifty-seven year old Elgin Durapower in wonderful shape. The butler finished dial is original with a even patina and looks in excellent condition, with the 14K applied gold numbers. The signed Elgin and underneath the Durapower symbol script in black enamel. The original Elgin gold hands are in top shape. A outer track highlights the edge and a second sub dial at 6 o'clock position. The Elgin looks outstanding under the minty original GLASS crystal. Nice vintage design and beautiful lugs measures approx. 37mm long from lug tip to tip and 23mm across w/o the crown. The watch comes with a very nice NOS period new brown genuine leather band. The movement is Elgin's "State of the Art Durapower" 21 Jewel 626 high grade movement. The movement has be disassembled, every part clean, oiled and timed. The watch is running strong. The stunning Elgin watch is ready to wear, A vintage timepiece, an asset to any collection and a delight to own. Vintage watches tend to be smaller.
