This 1950s Wittnauer Chronograph is a wonderful nod to the years of Wittnauer's inroads into watch design and fabrication for nautical and aeronautical navigation and exploration. The nicely patina-ed steel case wraps around a crisp white dial featuring Tachometer Chronometer and Telemeter scales. The alpha hands and horizontal sub-dials add to the military feel of this early piece. Steel case is approximately 35mm excluding crown. Calibre 22y Manual winding movement. 30-minute register at 3 and sub-seconds at 9 o'clock. Overall Condition: Case shows signs of regular wear. Dial is in fair overall condition showing discoloration on the edges. Hands are in good condition.
