This Victorian Era black mechanical pocket watch features a shock protected 17 jewel wind up mechanical movement. The glow in the dark face makes it easy to read in the dark. The vintage design echoes glamorous eras past. A functional reversible skeleton movement mechanical pocket watch shows the 17 jewel gold gears in motion. The ornate top cover flips open to view to light green glow in the dark dial face with black Arabic numbers through the scratch resistant hardened acrylic cover. The watch case back is ornately embossed with a Victorian scroll design with mineral glass view window for your enjoyment. This is a mechanical style watch that keeps accurate time and will need to be wound but does not require batteries. Pocket watch measures 1.75 inches and includes a traditional 14.5" black enamel stainless steel pocket watch chain with pocket/belt/button hook and watch clip. When you hear a click you will be able to turn the crown/button to set the time. Once you have set the time you will need to press the button firmly back towards the watch until you feel or hear a click. Winding your pocket watch You may wind your watch fully every day of use. Turn the winding crown (same button you set the time with) clockwise approximately 15 times. Stop if you feel resistance. The mainspring is made to wind up all the way once a day. Once you finish winding the watch you will need to rock the watch back and forth to activate it. Most watches will run 26-30 hours on a full winding, but there can be exceptions.
