Westclox Scotty Shock Resistant pocket watch, made in USA, circa 1970's. This sturdy pocket watch features a silver tone case, white dial with black numbers and markers. The pocket watch measures approximately 2" (5cm) round. The mechanical wind movement has been recently service in my shop and is in good working vintage condition. The case and crystal are in very good vintage condition – they do show wear, scratches and marks which is represented in the photos and to be expected on a timepiece of this age. Westclox was noted for making sturdy and affordable wrist and pocket watches and alarm clocks. For many people, a Westclox timepiece was the first they owned, often received to mark a birthday or special occasion. Today, they are sought after by collectors and those that appreciate a piece of fabulous time keeping history.
