Clinton 17J automatic (self-winding) mechanical movement wrist watch, ivory-toned metal dial with matte finish and raised silver Arabic numbers and markers has some very light scuffs (not distracting), fancy silver hands with luminous inserts and red sweep second, heavy white base metal (WBM) & stainless steel (SS) round water resistant case with classic heavy extended lugs showing normal even wear, measures approx. 30mm in diameter x 39mm lug to lug, white gold filled (WGF) & stainless steel (SS) Spidel expansion band with engraved links is currently an oversized version, we can replace with a standard size at no additional charge but it would be a different pattern than the current band shown. An attractive vintage wrist watch from the 1940's in excellent condition! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
