Bucherer 1960's Vintage 17 Jewels Wind Up Dress Watch. Brushed Pattern Gold Plated Case with Stainless Steel Back Case. Please Note Bracelet Closing Clasp is Broken and will need Repair or Replacement. Lgt Yellow-Cream Dial with Gold Markers and Hands. Sweeping Second Hand. Winds and keeps time. Have not test for more than a day to not over tighten. 15x19mm Watch Face not including stem or lugs. Estimate 1960's. Watch Identifiers: "Seventeen Jewels...Bucherer...Swiss. Back case identifiers: 5.2851 Condition: As noted above flaw or wear issue is the end bracelet clasp which appears to have broken and/or missing a latch piece, it appears it can be fairly easily replaced with another clasp or repaired by a jeweler. Otherwise watch crystal and case is in very good condition with minimal wear issues. Gold plating intact and no real noticable wear. Mvt is beautiful with 17 jewels placed beautifully, mvt is clean running. Winds and sets time. ** See Pictures Note: Bucherer watch company has had a prompt place in Swiss watch making, to be made even more influential with association and joint efforts with Rolex, whether some of their collaboration was overstated it still shows the remarkable impact Bucherer watch making had in the early to mid 1900's.
