Vintage ladies wristwatch made by Longines, one of the most respected names in fine Swiss watches since the mid-19th century. Worn by everyone from actress Audrey Hepburn to aviator Charles Lindbergh, Longines watches are renowned for their innovation, elegance, quality, and reliability. This refined ladies watch features a square case in 14-karat white gold surrounding a white face marked with numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 and raised dots for the remaining hours. The case is ornamented with 2 graceful scroll motifs set with 8 diamonds, which hold the loop ends of a cord band that closes with a secure single-channel foldover bracelet clasp. Manual wind, 17-jewel movement. Serial number 7863530 indicates that watch was made in the late 1940s. This is an exquisite, tasteful design that is as fashionable today as it was when the watch was made. Note: While watch is running and keeps accurate time, it should be checked and cleaned by a professional. Good vintage condition overall. All diamonds intact and excellent condition.
