Fine vintage mechanical c1940 man's swiss Tissot 14k solid yellow gold case in great condition. Heavy unusual hooded lug style case is signed J 14K on case back and Mathey Tissot J14k with serial number. I have examined this case carefully under magnification and report some light scratches. Back has not been personalized. Still retains brushed finish. No obvious dents or dings. Case measures 38 mm lug end to end and 22 mm across not including crown.Gold dial is signed Mathey Tissot and has raised gold hour markers and hands. Dial has some scratches. Crystal is new old stock replacement.Quality made manual wind movement is signed Mathey Tissot 17 Seventeen Jewels Swiss 102481. Winds and sets smoothly and presently keeping time sitting on my desk now. I have wound and watched this a few times before listing. Last service is not known.Fitted with a new Genuine brown lizard leather 18mm band. Signed Genuine Lizard USA 18R Kreisler. Gold tone metal buckle.
