Disk jumps from 1-12 to 13-24 to display 24 hour time. Popular pilot watch promoted by Gruen. This is the most desirable and rarest version of this popular model and the nicest one we have owned in the last few years. Swiss-made GRUEN 17 jewels manual-wind movement with 31 hours of power-reserve or running time Features: Rare Gruen Jump Watch with Original Dial and Swiss Made. Dial AM/PM Hour Markers Jump to 13-24 At Noon, and Back to 1-12 at Midnight. This Watch is Signed 3 Times, on the Dial, Case, and Movement. Case: Solid Stainless steel case with gold Plated Bezel and SS Stainless Steel Screwback. Near Mint Condition. Signed on the Inside Back Gruen Watch Co, Switzerland, 510RSS (Matches Movement Caliber). Dial: Original Two Tone Center Seconds Dial With Apertures At Each Hour to Reveal the Jump Hour Feature. This is a jump hour disk under the Gruen Precision dial and when you turn the hands turn 12 hours the "hour wheel" snaps perfectly from 24 military hours and then turn the hands again 12 hours and the jump wheel will snap perfectly back to 12 hours, it's amazing and works perfectly Movement: Gruen Caliber 510RSS 17 Jewel, Manual Wind Movement, (Gruen Watch Co, Swiss, 17 Jewels; Incabloc) The watch has been completely serviced, every part cleaned, oiled and tested.
