The large (1" X 7/8") Swarovski hand cut crystal shown in the photo glistens brightly in any light. The fine watch itself has a newly installed battery that should last for several years. Lifting up on the crown permits the hands to be set to the correct time and also shuts off the battery power. Pushing down on the crown starts the timepiece running. The silver plated pendant chain employs a lobster claw closure device for added security. The chain measures 24" overall length (12" on each side) and slips over the head easily for a very comfortable fit on any garment. A sweep second hand is in constant motion around the dial face as the watch ticks on the hours. The back of the watch case is stainless steel for added durability
