Up for sale is a mid 18th century (1750ish)pair cased English verge fusee pocketwatch. The movement is signed Wm. Cumber London. The outer case is about 50mm in diameter.It is made of gilded brass and is covered with green shagreen. There are a few rivets and a few scales missing but considering the age, it is in remarkably good condition. The inner case is gilded brass. Some of the gilding is worn off.
