Raketa watches are manufactured at the Petrodvoretz (Peter Palace) Watch Factory in Saint Peterburg, which was founded by Peter the Great in 1721. The Petrodvorets Watch Factory has been producing watches under the Raketa brand since 1962. From 1930's the factory started manufacturing rubis for watch mechanisms, then watches under famous soviet brands.
