TURBINE 'DRAGON' Limited & Numbered Edition Of Only 99 Pieces Worldwide!In tribute to the Chinese year of the dragon, traditionally thought to be particularly auspicious, this Limited & Numbered Edition bears an imperial dragon drawn in the traditional Chinese manner with its five claws and an upward-looking stance. Its scale-covered body ends in a fishtail. Cut out from hand-colored Polynesian mother-of-pearl, it rests on an iridescent white mother-of-pearl dial. A modern adaption of the Perrelet 'Double Rotor'. In addition to the traditional automatic winding rotor mounted on the back of the movement a second spinning rotor is visible on the face of the watch beneath the hands. This watch design is inspired by aeronautical field & the front rotor depicts a turbine - hence the name. The Turbine rotor features 12 blackened blades above mother-of-pearl dial. The free spinning Turbine rotor makes for a sensational optical effect.This watch features: Case is blackened DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treated steel which is highly Scratch-resistant. Polished finished bezel & satin finished case. Natural mother-of-pearl dial featuring a Dragon. Inner fixed bezel ring with Arabic Numeral & Index hours markers. Blackened hands with luminous fill. Crown recessed into case edge, with a small flip open lever to assist with winding & time change. Perrelet in-house caliber P-331, beats at 28,800 vph, contains 25 jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 40 hours. AKA: A80001
