A superb quality antique American open-faced pocket watch with rolled gold 5-year case and porcelain dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, by Elgin. The seven-jewelled, ornate Elgin National movement is in good condition - winds fully, goes well and even keeps good time! Due to its age though,I would recommend a clean service. Elgin's dating registry dates it to 1899 and it's in very good, lightly worn condition throughout with no loss or damage and only the faintest surface scr
