I have proudly worn this watch since 1973; I purchased it used and I am the second person to own it. Regretfully I do not have the papers nor the box, for some odd reason they were misplaced, likely during one of my moves. I have gathered information about the specs which I deem fairly accurate. Please, please, please be sure you have read the entire description, I'll gladly try to answer any questions you might have. The serial number will put its manufacturing date between 1958 and 1960 according to what I have learned and recall from forty years ago. Since I do not wear it as often as I used to I have decided to sell it. This is a very elegant gents authentic Rolex two-tone 18K yellow gold & stainless steel oyster perpetual date watch. It has been fitted with a custom made aftermarket adjustable oyster bracelet in 18K gold and stainless steel; as it is now it will fit a wrist of up to 7-1/8" (tight) but the clasp is adjustable to fit a 6 1/2" up to a 7" wrist. The white enamel dial has roman numerals enhanced with gold raised markers and hands. The stainless steel case has a solid 18K yellow gold fluted bezel in great condition showing extremely light signs of wear consistent with its age, the Cyclops crystal is in very good condition too with no scratches (refer to pictures) The diameter is 34mm; not counting the Rolex signed gold screw-down crown. It has the original Rolex officially certified chronometer self-winding automatic movement (Ref 1501) which is running strong and keeping excellent time, it is rhodium-plated, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions Please note this watch is a vintage watch. When not in use it will require winding to get the automatic mechanism running again. A watch winder is recommended when not in use, as an alternative to winding. I am sorry not all the pictures are as clear as I would like them to be but had a few problems with lighting. It is a great watch and works very nicely. NOTE: all of my sales are non returnable and not refundable but in this case I will make an exception and give the buyer three (3) days return privilege. If for any reason you are not satisfied I MUST BE NOTIFIED within 3 days and the watch returned within 5 days using an overnight service with signature required. both ways will be buyer's responsibility and IS NOT REFUNDABLE Questions?
