An Elgin pocket watch dating to 1906, according to the serial number on the movements. and the second hand is working, though this watch does need a new main spring, as it does not stay ticking. The casing is gold filled, and has no wear. It looks so much like 14k, I had to test it 2ce to be sure it was not, and no hallmarks anywhere to indicate it is. Watch is marked with the following information: 1112938 inside front and back covers. The inner most cover protecting the watch mechanism says: WADSWORTH warranted 20 years, 1112938 The mechanism's marked Elgin Natl Watch Co. 12685031 USA Safety Pinion Watch measures 1 3/8" in diameter, and 3/8" thick. I'm all over the place.
