Gruen 15J mechanical movement wrist watch, champagne-toned metal dial with black Arabic numbers and markers is evenly faded across the dial but does not have any damage, black steel hands and sweep second, attractive chrome & stainless steel (SS) round water resistant case with classic extended lugs, case showing normal even wear, measures approx. 21mm in diameter x 26mm lug to lug, black suede leather band. A very handsome and high grade watch from the 1940's in excellent condition! ****************************************************************************************************** All of our watches are in good running condition, and unless otherwise noted in the description, you can expect them to be properly winding, setting and keeping reasonable (+/- 5 minutes per day) time upon receipt. Most of our watches have been in storage for many years, so if you plan on carrying/wearing them everyday, you should have them cleaned and oiled, and then once a year thereafter to keep them in top running and timekeeping condition. If the watches will be for occasional use or display, they should be cleaned and serviced every 3 to 5 years depending on use.
