The case back is engraved with the year of production & limited edition number for that year.This watch features: Solid 18kt rose gold case with finely brushed finished edges & polished finished fascia (lugs, bezel etc.) Dial: Silver dial with a very fine brushed finished flat outer diameter. Globe design etched into center of dial. Sub-dial are rimmed with a thin strip of fine concentric circle textured pattern, the center of the sub-dial are a matte flat finish. Applied polished rose gold Arabic Numeral & index hour markers. Fine black printed minute track. Elegant polished rose gold leaf shaped hands Chronograph/Stopwatch complication: Large central seconds counter hand. 30 minute counter located around the perimeter of the sub-dial located at the 12 o'clock position. 12 hour counter sub-dial at the center of the sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position. Perpetual Calendar with year display: Day of the week indicated on the outside perimeter of the sub-dial at the 9 o'clock position. Date indicated at the sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position. Month indicated on the outside perimeter of the sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. Current year displayed in a full 4 digit format with a window between the 7 & 8 o'clock position. Moonphase: Displayed at sub-dial at the 12 o'clock position. Indicated by a polished rose gold colored full moon display on a rotating deep blue disc with small stars. Minute Repeater: Activated by pulling the lever located at the left side of the case. Has 3 different distinct chimes for the hours, quarter hours & minutes. Small continuous running seconds dial located at the center of the 9 o'clock sub-dial. Case back features an engraved sextant - an indispensable tool for marine navigation. A clear sign that the watch belongs to the Portuguese watch collection. IWC Caliber 79091, composed out of 657 parts, contains 75 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 44 hours.
