The company founded in the Swiss mountains by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in 1860, Chopard is world renowned for their design creations in fine jewelry and watches. Gaining momentum in the early 1900s, Chopard specialized in the production of pocket watches and chronometers. They have been on the forefront of the high-end market since the 1920's, gaining popularity with the implementation of their own patented movement the LUC and the unique design of the happy diamonds, which are incredibly popular among New York's elite and Hollywood's most famous. Although the company was sold by the Chopard family in 1963 to Karl Scheufele, Chopard today remains a family owned operation with a leading third generation jeweler at the helm. The Chopard brand combines an elegant blend of style and sophistication to create luxurious and technically complex timepieces that enhance their reputation as the premier luxury watch maker and can withstand the test of time. Form meets function with this unisex Imperiale Chronograph timepiece, reference 37/8210-33, is the essence of what Chopard has come to represent as one of the leading luxury watch makers. A round stainless steel case surrounds the metallic blue dial that houses the three sub dials of the chronograph and date display. Elegantly finishing this piece is the original Chopard stainless steel bracelet and stainless steel deployment clasp. This watch is in very good condition with minor scuffing on the case, case back and bracelet.
