Antique Hamilton pocket watch has just come off the bench and has been completely serviced. This Hamilton pocket watch is running fine and keeping good time. The serial number dates this very nice cased Hamilton 18 size (measures 2 1/8" in diameter not including the pendant) 17 jewels model 924 pocket watch to around 1906. The Hamilton pocket watch is pendant wind and lever set which works properly, with crown in very good condition. The porcelain dial shows large black Arabic hour markers with tiny red Arabics above each hour marker indicating minutes. The dial reads: HAMILTON and has no hairlines but does show a chip where the lever is located to set the hands. The chip is mostly hidden with the bezel on but can be seen if looking closely. The steel blued "Spade Style hour and minute hand very good condition as well as the second hand. The thick bevelded glass crystal is free of any chips or cracks but does show a scratch which I would have replaced but did not have a another crystal of this size. The Hamilton movement is bright and clean with balance showing strong motion and regulator nicely centered for adjustment either way if necessary. The movement reads: HAMILTON WATCH CO...LANCASTER,PA...17 JEWELS...SAFETY PINION. This awesome movement is in a large gold filled case that reads: DUEBER SPECIAL. The case covers screw on and off easily and tight. The case has no dings or dents and is not monogramed. This gorgeous looking case shows a highly detailed filigree design around the covers edge and main body of the case. The back cover shows a a flower and leaf design that stands out well. Bow is firm and looks original to the case. Overall, a very original timepiece that presents itself nicely that anyone would be proud to add to there collection. A strong running pocket watch keeping good time for being 107 years old. Buyer to pay $ 6.00 for priority shipping which will include insurance.
