This is a great piece for any Vintage watch lover! An Omega slim design pocket watch from the 1940's. This piece features a grey tone dial with a dark charcoal grey band around the perimeter that has roman numeral hour markers. Right above the 6 o'clock marker there is a charcoal grey sub-second hand with markers for 15, 30, 45, and 60 seconds. It is a very minimal design with a big impact. Not too flashy and very classic making it "timeless." The case is stainless steel and has a half oval over the crown to attach it to a chain or fob. The back of the case has a very Art Deco line pattern etched into it for added detail. This is a wind up watch, meaning the crown turns to wind up the movement, essentially providing power for the watch to run. Inside, the movement is in great condition. It is stamped Omega Swiss and has a serial number also. This piece features a 15 jewel movement, meaning throughout the inside of the watch movement there are 15 rubies. The crystal is in great shape with only minimal scratches that do not obstruct vision into the watch. There are a few spots of wear on the face of the watch which are visible in the pictures. The watch measures 1.85" in diameter and 0.37" width wise, making it super slim and easy to slip in a pocket and go! This piece is in working condition. I have set it and it runs, keeping great time. A great little piece of history with a great name! Omega is still known today for their excellence in watch making and this really shows that their pieces are a great investment!
