This is a really neat, unique very old piece! Dates to the late 1800's and I would consider it a 'project piece' and will require some TLC to be functioning properly. Alternately- you could use it for parts, creative purposes or leave it as is and keep it as a neat decorative piece. The balance staff appears to be OK, as the wheel is not wobbly- but besides that, I have no idea if there are any issues. The wheel does rotate smoothly, but you have to rotate it with your finger. It is a key wind and key set model. Porcelain enamel dial has a couple of faint hairlines. I believe this is a "Patent Lever" model. Measures 46mm across.
