Form meets function with this gentleman’s Vintage Audemars Piguet 1940s Watch. A square 18k yellow gold case surrounds the silver dial that houses the seconds register. A pair of yellow gold hands marks the manual winding movement, which is shown through the painted black Roman numerals on the bezel and stick indicators as markers. Finishing this piece is the black crocodile bracelet and gold buckle. The case back is inscribed with “ To Al With All My Love Rose Xmas 1949.†This watch is in fair vintage condition with scuffing on the case and case back, tarnishing on the indicators, scuffing on the crystal, discoloration on the dial, minor wear to the bracelet and tarnishing on the buckle.
