The Astron is the first watch built to captures signal from the global network of GPS satellites and identify time and date data for all 39 time zones. The hands adjust automatically to the correct local time with Atomic Clock precision, and its internal perpetual calendar so the date will always be as accurate as the time.The incredible Astron is solar-powered, it never needs a battery change. It will continously recharge indoors or outside.The 47mm case is craftedstainless steel with a ceramic bezel. The dial presents a 24-hour dual-time subdial at 6 and in-flight mode indicator and GPS status indicated by the central second hand and indicator at 10 o’clock. The SAST009 has a fine Rubber Dive Strap with a push button Deployment buckle. It is water resistant to 10 atmospheres or 330 feet below sea level for confident wearing under all the conditions a world traveler might encouter.
