Stuhrling Originals Eclipse Series is renowned for its incredible and unique dial work. A trait that its members share is their engineering and classic style that makes these beautiful timepieces perfect boardroom piece as well as a sporty addition to your wardrobe. A prime example of such a watch is the Atlas. The Atlas starts with an impressive case design made from solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel with a polished bezel decorated at the lugs with S-screws. The movement is exposed tinted acrylic on the first level which is eclipsed by the skeletal dial plate that is also home to the three sub-dials. At 2 oclock is the quick set date complication while the 6 oclock sub-dial tracks the small seconds. At 10 oclock you will find a rarity of complications: a power reserve indicator; the Atlas will let you know when this pure mechanical timepiece needs to be wound! Along with the printed minutes/seconds track the Atlas includes individually applied Arabic numerals and baton-style indices. Semi-skeletonized hands with Luminova tips make it easy to read in the dark. The Atlas comes equipped with a very comfortable strap made from high grade silicon rubber; a diamond pattern decorates it for added style. This timepiece is also well protected by Krysterna crystals a mineral more shatter-resistant that sapphire which also lends to its 50 meter water resistance.
