Antique 9k Gold BUREN 15J Ladies Watch Roman 2-tone Dial ca. 1920 Make: BurenSerial #: (from case) Year: (approximate)1920Country: Swiss Case Shape and Material: 9K solid yellow gold round case with swivel lugs in very good condition with double boxed hinged front and back. Case measures 32mm L (24mm w/o the lugs) x 24mm W. Inner caseback is hallmarked 9 in a diamond and .375 for 9K solid gold. Next to the hallmark is the London Assay office mark and the the date code 'e' for 1920. Makers mark is partly rubbed out possibly GLA for George L. Allen. Watch is fitted an antique gold onion crown. Case back shows 3 or 4 small dings (see photos).Lugs: swivel lugs Monogram: none Movement: high grade 15 Jewel movement without subseconds.Movmt Type: mechanical movement, signed Buren Imperial Swiss.Movmt Condition: very good, winds, sets and runs. Have not yet tested it for accuracy.Mainspring (runtime): 24+Regulation: checkedDial: white painted metal with gold color center with black painted roman hour markers except for "12" which painted in red. Dial is in good condition but shows slight darkening from age. Hands: black spade, good.
