The Max Bill Chronoscope Watch was designed by Max Bill for Junghans in the 1960's. This is an authentic edition, made by the original manufacturer Junghans. Max Bill was a pupil of Walter Gropius and kindred spirit of Le Corbusier and Mies van der Rohe —was a virtuoso designer and creative artist, as his diverse activities as a painter, architect, sculptor, teacher and designer amply demonstrate. The simplicity and proportionality of the Max Bill Automatic with numbers watch design reflects the "Bauhaus" design sensibility of Max Bill, as well as the precision watchmaking of Junghans.
